John 5:4-6

New English Translation

⁵ Now a man was there who had been disabled for thirty-eight years.^{[a] 6} When Jesus saw him lying there and when he realized^[b] that the man^[c] had been disabled a long time already, he said to him, “Do you want to become well?”
